Finatic designs was created by artist, Jeff Harrell.
Jeff always had a passion for art and fishing.
As a kid he fished ponds for bluegills and was always drawing some kind of pictures before school.
He worked in the apparel industry for 13yrs full time at which time fish and art came together and
he began painting some of his favorite gamefish species. Jeff also owned and operated a canoe
outfitter business for a few years that specialized in flycasting clinics and instructional guided
fly fishing trips.
In addition to his artwork and the innovation of finatic designs products, Jeff coordinates outdoor
recreation programs and teaches youth fishing & conservation in the residential programs of the
Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches. Jeff is also the co-founder of a program called 'hooked on youth'-kids & conservation.
The innovation of finatic designs came from the idea of being fanatical about fish. Everything derives from the passion of the 'fin' that we all share. It's not just angling it's a lifestyle, a way of life.
The art comes from living the life of chasing the 'fin'. Each painting is inspired from on the water experiences and are shared by creating prints, shirts, stickers, and etc. for others commonly sharing the lifestyle. Some products are simply graphic images of symbols representing the way of life of a finatic. The symbols are inspired from those defining moments such as a redfish tail sticking up, or a tarpon head coming up from the water.
If you share the same passion, lifestyle, way of life,
and -live - breathe - fish- then you definitely are a finatic as well.
